Obituary of Camille G. Frey

CAMILLE G. FREY, 86, Englewood, Florida, passed away Monday, August 9, 2021 at her home. Born on April 26, 1935 in Lyndhurst, New Jersey to the late John P. and Clara (Drozdowski) Cordone, Camille married her high school sweetheart, Walter H. Frey, in 1954. Walt and Camille lived in Allenwood, New Jersey, for over 25 years where they raised their two sons. Camille became the First President of the Ladies Auxiliary at South Wall Little League, and was instrumental in the "Light the Knights Campaign" which was responsible for placing lights at the Wall High School Football Field. Camille enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews. She was known to all that loved her, as Camille or Honey. Her specialties included playing host to her many friends and family members, baking Christmas cookies for everyone she knew, and watching Hallmark Movies. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter. Survivors include her two sons: Gary and his wife, Laura, and their sons, John and Daniel of Herndon VA; David and his wife, Carole, and their daughters, Emma Gene and Hana of Howell NJ; one brother: Frank Cordone, and his wife, Pamela, of Lyndhurst NJ; many nieces, nephews and their children. A service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Autism Research Institute www.autism.org in memory of Camille Frey.
