Obituary of Barbara Ann Lagler

Barbara Bachman Lagler, 81 of Englewood, Florida formally from PA peacefully passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021 after fighting lung cancer for many years. Barbara was a beloved wife to Kenneth Lagler, Sr. for 64 glorious years. A wonderful mother of 5 children, Tammy White, Cindy Schanley, Kenneth Lagler, Jr., Scott Lagler and Toyia Youtzy. Was loved by 13 grandchildren and 8 1/2 great grandchildren. Barbara was born in Emmaus, PA where she met and married Kenneth Lagler Sr. Barbara was always in the restaurant business. At 16 years old she waitressed, moving up to restaurant manager for years, to eventually becoming restaurant owner with Kenneth Lagler , Sr. for 14 years at The Country Fox Inn in Red Hill, PA. Barbara and Ken Lagler both retired in 1992 and settled in Englewood, Florida where she was known for and enjoyed being a wonderful cook, baker, crafter, Gardner and most of all an avid bingo player with many bingo friends❤️ Mom you will be dearly missed by all. Rest in peace with your heaven family and friends. A private family service will be take Place Sunday, May 2, 2021 at 12 noon at Englewood Community Funeral Home located at 3070 S. McCall Rd Englewood, FL 34224
