Obituary of Frank J. Ferraro

Frank Joseph Ferraro, 80, of Englewood, Florida passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at his Sarasota county residence. Born on May 12, 1940 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Rocco and Stella Ferraro he had been a resident of Florida for eighteen years coming from Toronto, Ohio. Frank was employed by Weirton Steel for thirty plus years and retired in 1998 as a supervisor/pipe fitter. Frank served as the Chief of Police for the Dillonvale Police Department and the Flushing Police Department both in Ohio. He was a lifetime member of the Loyal Order of the Moose #1933 in Englewood; and was an enthusiastic golfer who ran the Moose Golf League. His last hole in one was in 2017 but it was not his only hole in one. Survivors include three children: Jill (Mark) Kincaid of Bergholz, Ohio; Roxanne (Dean) Peryea of Palmetto, Florida; Frank Ferraro, Jr. of Toronto, Ohio; one brother: John (Patty) Keller of Newark, Ohio; three grand- children: Casey Miller, Preston Collins, Rocco Ferraro and five great grandchildren; one step-daughter: Billie Jo Cunard and her children: Chris and Kelly Gorney, and their children.
