Obituary of Harold Hussey

HAROLD E. HUSSEY Harold Edward Hussey, 64, of Port Charlotte, FL died Monday, June 23, 2008 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital. Born on October 12, 1943 in Bronx, New York he had been a resident of Charlotte County for two years coming from East Brunswick, New Jersey. After serving in the U.S. Navy as a sub-mariner; he graduated with a B.A. in computer science from Columbia University. He retired in 2003 from the Bank of New York, Wall Street Branch in NY as a Senior Vice-President after thirty-five years. A loving husband and father, he was a soccer coach in East Brunswick, NJ and FIFA (soccer referee association); loved the New York giants, was an avid fisherman and loved animals. Survivors include his loving wife of forty-one years: April M. Hussey of Pt. Charlotte, FL; one daughter: Karen Palaitis of Maplewood, NJ; one son: Thomas Hussey of Hunterville, NC; one sister: Virginia Hussey of North Port, FL; one brother: Robert Hussey of Lynbrook, NY; father-in-law: Thomas Fargin of Port Charlotte, FL; two grandchildren: Deville and Luca Palaitis and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 from 11 Am until service time at 12:30 PM at the Englewood Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 3070 South McCall Road.
